43 - SHAVING THE TEMPLES OF OUR HEADS

According to the Mishnah: “The observance of all the negative commandments, whether they depend on the time of the year or not, is incumbent both on men and women, excepting the prohibitions nor shall you disfigure the edges of your beard (Leviticus 19:27); see following comm., and You shall not shave around the sides of your head, and None shall defile himself for the dead among his people (Leviticus 21:1); (See prohibition 166).*
