It shall be to you holy for the LORD. 38 Whoever makes any like it, to smell it, he shall be cut off from his people.”
By this prohibition it is forbidden to make incense of the same ingredients and same relative weights like that used in the sanctuary with the intention of burning and smelling it. Whoever violates this prohibition willfully is liable to extinction, and one who does this unintentionally must bring a fixed sin offering. |
