He shall put no oil on it, nor shall he put frankincense on it, for it is a sin offering.”
The Mishnah says: “A man is liable because of the oil by itself and because of the frankincense by itself,”* because these are undoubtedly two separate negative commandments. * Men. 59b (Sonc. ed. p. 351)
