The Sharia of Moses in the TORA
Part 2 - The 365 Prohibitions of the Tora

118 - ALLOWING ANY OF THE MEAT OF THE FESTIVAL OFFERING OF THE FOURTEENTH OF NISAN TO REMAIN UNTIL THE THIRD DAY

Deuteronomy 16:4 -- “And no leaven shall be seen among you in all your territory for seven days, nor shall any of the meat which you sacrifice the first day at twilight remain overnight until morning.”

The Festal offering, being essentially a peace offering, could be eaten during two successive days and the intervening night.* Rabbinical law, however, ruled that if any of its meat was placed on the same table with that of the Passover offering, it could be eaten only till midnight, like the Passover offering itself.**
