The Sharia of Moses in the TORA
Part 2 - The 365 Prohibitions of the Tora

184 - EATING BLOOD

Leviticus 3:17 -- “This shall be a perpetual statute throughout your generations in all your dwellings: you shall eat neither fat nor blood.”
Leviticus 7:26-27 -- 26Moreover you shall not eat any blood in any of your dwellings, whether of bird or beast. 27 Whoever eats any blood, that person shall be cut off from his people.”
Leviticus 7:14 -- “And from it he shall offer one cake from each offering as a heave offering to the LORD. It shall belong to the priest who sprinkles the blood of the peace offering.”

The penalty for willful contravention of this commandment is extinction: Whoever eats any blood, that person shall be cut off from his people. One who infringes it unintentionally must offer a fixed sin offering.
