Exodus 22:22-24 -- 22 “You shall not afflict any widow or fatherless child. 23 If you afflict them in any way, and they cry at all to Me, I will surely hear their cry; 24 and My wrath will become hot, and I will kill you with the sword; your wives shall be widows, and your children fatherless.”
Leviticus 25:37 --You shall not lend him your money for usury, nor lend him your food at a profit.”
Deuteronomy 23:20 -- “To a foreigner you may charge interest, but to your brother you shall not charge interest, that the LORD your God may bless you in all to which you set your hand in the land which you are entering to possess.”

We read in the Mishnah: “The following transgress Negative Commandments: the lender, the borrower, the surety, and the witnesses. The sages add: the notary also. They transgress You shall not lend him your money for usury, Take no usury or interest from him, you shall not charge him interest, and nor put a stumbling block before the blind.*
