The Sharia of Moses in the TORA
Part 2 - The 365 Prohibitions of the Tora

264 - ENSLAVING A CAPTIVE WOMAN

Deuteronomy 21:14 -- “And it shall be, if you have no delight in her, then you shall set her free, but you certainly shall not sell her for money; you shall not treat her brutally, because you have humbled her.”

By this prohibition, it is forbidden to enslave a woman of goodly form taken captive in war after her captor has had intercourse with her; that is to say, the captor may not make her his slave and treat her like other bondmaids who do servile work.
