This is indulgence from your Lord, and mercy. And he who shall transgress after this, [by killing the murderer], shall suffer a grievous punishment.

4:32 Covet not that which God hath bestowed on some of you preferably to others. Unto the men [shall be given] a portion, of what they shall have gained, and unto the women [shall be given] a portion, of what they shall have gained: Therefore ask God of his bounty; for God is omniscient.

And he who findeth not [wherewith to do this], shall fast two months consecutively, [as] a penance [injoined] from God; and God is knowing and wise.

5:32 Wherefore we commanded the children of Israel, that he who slayeth a soul, without [adding thereto the murder of another] soul, or [without] committing wickedness in the earth, [shall be] as if he had slain all mankind: But he who saveth [a soul] alive, [shall be] as if he had saved the lives of all mankind.
