How to Uncover Basic Flaws and Hidden Lies in Attacks against the Christian Faith
PART 3 - THE METHOD OF PRESUPPOSOTIONAL APOLOGETICS

22. The Requirements for the Apologist

1. Proper attitude. We must not be arrogant or quarrelsome (2 Timothy 2:24).
2. Proper starting point. We must take God’s word as His self-evidencing presupposition, rather than attempting to be neutral (Colossians 2:8).
3. Proper method. We must work on the unbeliever’s unacknowledged presuppositions (Proverbs 26:4-5).
4. Proper goal. We must keep in mind the ultimate aim of securing the unbeliever’s unconditional surrender without compromising our own fidelity (2 Corinthians 10:5).
