058 -- NEW TESTAMENT Part 2 (Acts) in the Koran

This sixth part of the Bible and second part of the New Testament has 15,021 words, and 1,005 verses in the 28 chapters of the one book: The Acts of the Apostles. The Koran has nearly totally omitted all and every element from this book. Here we spell out this situation with details:

INCLUDED: Only the fact that Christ ascended or was raised to heaven is mentioned in the Koran (Sura 4:158). Most everything else from the book of Acts was omitted, with one exception: // the followers of Christ are called Nasara in the Koran, which is similar to the Nazarenes in Acts 24:5 (see Suras: 2:62 -- 3:67 -- 5:14 -- 9:30 -- 22:17 and 10 other verses of the Koran on the Nasara).
OMITTED: The whole earliest history of the church of Christ was omitted in the Koran including the following events: // the outpouring of the Holy Spirit on the Apostles at Pentecost; // the sermons delivered and miracles performed by Peter and his ensuing persecution by the Jewish authorities; // the news about Stephen and his martyrdom through stoning; // the life of the earliest church in Jerusalem and its dispersion through persecution; // the spread of the church to Samaria and beyond; // the conversion of Paul from a zealous Pharisee to an Apostle of Christ; // the news about the first Gentiles becoming Christians; // the first Christians in Antioch; // the mission trips of Paul to Asia Minor, Greece and Italy with the establishment of churches outside of Judaea; // the arrest and trial of Paul and his transfer to the capital of the Roman empire; // and the final events of Paul's imprisonment and activities in Rome.
