BIBLICAL SAMPLE: Here we quote the end of the biblical account about Noah's flood in Genesis 9:28-29 -- “28 After the flood Noah lived three hundred and fifty years. 29 All the days of Noah were nine hundred and fifty years, and he died.”

KORANIC SAMPLE: The short passage from Genesis quoted above seems to have been taken up in this verse of the Koran: Sura al-'Ankabut 29:14 -- “And (truly) we have sent (as a messenger) Nuuh (Noah) to his people. So, he remained among them one thousand years less fifty years; and the flood took them, while they were (sinful) evildoers.”
