30 - REMOVING THE ASHES FROM THE ALTAR
Leviticus 6:11 -- “Then he shall take off his garments, put on other garments, and carry the ashes outside the camp to a clean place.”
The taking up of the ashes was the very first act in the day’s service in the sanctuary. The one on whom the lot had fallen to clear the ashes from the altar made ready to do so.
