22. How can I be a witness for Christ to a Muslim?
Seven types of Muslims and how they can be shown the way to Christ

4. The Indifferent Muslim

Situation: More and more Muslims are being influenced by materialism and humanism. Many of them have never held a Qu’ran in their hands, not to mention ever having read from it. They only know the Qu’ran from what they have seen and been told, or perhaps from some of their relatives who are still pious. But they themselves have become worldly and hardly trouble themselves with spiritual things. How can someone give witness for Christ to such a Muslim?

Suggestion: Confront him with a troubling question, to try and bring him out of his indifference. Here is a concrete example to take in pursuing a conversation: “Why do all Muslims have to go to hell? In sura 19:71-72 it is written: “There is not one of you that will not come to it (hell); that is already an inescapable judgment. Then we will let the God-fearing get away and leave the evil-doers behind, on their knees in it.” This verse says that every Muslim must come to hell. Do you want that? If you believe on the gospel of Christ you will never come to hell, but rather have eternal life with God in heaven. Christ said: “I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in Me, though he may die, he shall live. And whoever lives and believes in Me shall never die. Do you believe this?” (John 11:25-26) Tip: If it is possible let the Muslim himself read the passage aloud, and then ask him, what this verse says to him.
