“The word of the Lord remains forever.” (1 Peter 1:25)
PRAYER: We all pass away, heavenly Father. Our words and efforts will be gone, because of the sin of our mother Eve and of our father Adam. But you do not pass away. Your word remains forever, even your words about Adam and his wife and about how they sought evil beyond your goodness. Help us to carefully heed your steadfast word so that it can accomplish your purposes in our lives. Amen.
