Sura al-A'raf 7:11-18 -- “12 … He (i.e. the Devil) said, ‘I (am) better than him (i.e. Adam). You created me from fire and you created him from clay.’
Sura al-Hijr 15:28-43 -- “33 He (i.e. the Devil) said, ‘Never would I prostrate to a human (being), whom you created from clay, from shaped mud.’ ”
Sura al-Isra' 17:61-66 -- “61 … He (i.e. the Devil) said, ‘Should I prostrate to (one), whom you created (from) clay?’ ”
Sura Ta Ha 20:116-117 -- Not mentioned
Sura Sad 38:71-85 -- “76 He (i.e. the Devil) said, ‘I (am) better than him. You created me from fire and you created him from clay.’ ”
