We here offer you background material on the narrative content of the Koran: Which verses of Koranic narratives can be traced back to pre-Islamic sources (e.g. Bible, Apocrypha, Pseudepigrapha, Talmud)? This series is still being developed and currently contains 4 booklets, parts of which are currently available in the following translations:
