10.6. Something never heard of
Although – as noted in the previous chapter – conversions to Islam are often widely spoken of and even celebrated in the media, conversions from Islam to Christianity are typically kept hidden for security purposes or – if known – are not spoken of or mentioned in the media. Thus the typical Muslim will not be aware of a single person who has become a Christian from a Muslim background – ever. For them, then, conversion is an outright impossibility which has never happened nor ever can; it is completely out of the question and not something to be entertained or considered.
