The Sharia of Moses in the TORA
Part 1 - The 248 Positive Commandments of the Tora

8 - WALKING IN GOD'S WAYS

Deuteronomy 28:9 -- “The LORD will establish you as a holy people to Himself, just as He has sworn to you, if you keep the commandments of the LORD your God and walk in His ways.”
Deuteronomy 11:22 -- “For if you carefully keep all these commandments which I command you to do - - to love the LORD your God, to walk in all His ways, and to hold fast to Him”
Exodus 34:6 -- “And the Lord passed before him and proclaimed, ‘The LORD, the LORD God, merciful and gracious, longsuffering, and abounding in goodness and truth’”
Deuteronomy 13:5 -- “But that prophet or that dreamer of dreams shall be put to death, because he has spoken in order to turn you away from the Lord your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt and redeemed you from the house of bondage, to entice you from the way in which the LORD your God commanded you to walk. So you shall put away the evil from your midst.”

By this injunction, we are commanded to be like God (praised be He) as far as it is in our power.
