The Sharia of Moses in the TORA
Part 2 - The 365 Prohibitions of the Tora

280 - A JUDGE PREVENTING THE JUSTICE DUE TO PROSELYTES OR ORPHANS

Deuteronomy 24:17 --You shall not pervert justice due the stranger or the fatherless, nor take a widow's garment as a pledge.”
Leviticus 19:15 -- “You shall do no injustice in judgment. You shall not be partial to the poor, nor honor the person of the mighty. In righteousness you shall judge your neighbor.”

He who perverts the justice due to anyone in Israel transgresses one negative commandment, which is contained in His words, You shall do no injustice in judgment;* but he who perverts the justice due to a proselyte transgresses two negative commandments, as the Sifre says: “You shall not pervert justice due the stranger: this teaches us that he who perverts the justice due to a proselyte violates two negative commandments.”** And if the proselyte was fatherless, he transgresses three.
