**354 - A MAMZER HAVING INTERCOURSE WITH A JEWESS**

Deuteronomy 23:3 -- “An Ammonite or Moabite shall not enter the congregation of the LORD; even to the tenth generation none of his descendants shall enter the congregation of the LORD forever.”

“In order to create a horror of illicit marriages, a bastard was not allowed to marry an Israelite woman; the adulterer and the adulteress were thus taught that by their act they bring upon their seed irreparable injury.”*
