17. Understanding Islam
SECTION FOUR: UNDERSTANDING ISLAMIC BARRIERS TO THE GOSPEL
CHAPTER NINE: BARRIERS FOR CHRISTIANS TO OVERCOME WHEN EVANGELISING MUSLIMS

9.8. Lack of Biblical knowledge

Many Christians don’t spend time studying Christianity, often through laziness or lack of inclination. As a result, they are unable to effectively engage in preaching the gospel or to answer questions posed by non-Christians. There is a huge need for Christians to study the Bible, theology, history and so on. Such study would strengthen their own faith and help them to be ready to give an answer for the hope that is within them as commanded by the Bible (1 Peter 3:15)
