17. Understanding Islam
SECTION SIX: UNDERSTANDING CONVERTS FROM ISLAM

CHAPTER FOURTEEN: SOCIETAL DIFFICULTIES FACED BY NEW CONVERTS FROM ISLAM

Jesus never said life would be easy as a follower of Christ. In fact, He said quite the opposite (see Acts 9:16, Acts 14:22, Acts 20:23 and Philippians 1:29)! Christians from a Muslim background may experience difficulties unique to them. These will vary from country to country, family to family and person to person, but here we will look at some possible consequences of a decision to follow Christ so that you may consider how you can best support these new members of your church family.
