15.2. Don't close ranks


Many churches, often out of a true feeling of family and love for one another, give the impression of being closed to outsiders. Perhaps you have experienced this in the past when visiting a new church. Of course it is not only Muslims, or former Muslims, who may feel like this but given the difference in backgrounds and cultures, there is a greater risk of converts feeling like an outsider. Make sure you welcome all newcomers.
