The Sharia of Moses in the TORA
Part 2 - The 365 Prohibitions of the Tora
207 - A NAZIRITE RENDING HIMSELF UNCLEAN FOR THE DEAD
A Nazirite who makes himself unclean for any dead person, whether the uncleanness be of the kind for which he must cut off his hair or not,* is punished by whipping.
“He shall not make himself unclean even for his father or his mother… because his separation (nezer = crown) to God is on his head. (Num VI, 7). All people are slaves of their desires. The monarch who wears the true crown of royalty on his head is therefore the man who frees himself from his worldly desires.”*
