A Nazirite who makes himself unclean for any dead person, whether the uncleanness be of the kind for which he must cut off his hair or not,* is punished by whipping. * Nazir, 49b (Sonc. ed. pp. 184ff), 54a, b (Sonc. ed. pp. 202f)
“He shall not make himself unclean even for his father or his mother… because his separation (nezer = crown) to God is on his head. (Num VI, 7). All people are slaves of their desires.
