The Sharia of Moses in the TORA
Part 1 - The 248 Positive Commandments of the Tora

107 - UNCLEANNESS OF A CORPSE

Numbers 19:14-16 -- 14 “This is the law when a man dies in a tent: All who come into the tent and all who are in the tent shall be unclean seven days; 15 and every open vessel, which has no cover fastened on it, is unclean. 16 Whoever in the open field touches one who is slain by a sword or who has died, or a bone of a man, or a grave, shall be unclean seven days.”

The uncleanness of a dead body exceeds all other uncleannesses. It is termed “the father of the fathers of uncleanness”, and conveys uncleanness to whatever enters or remains within the same tent or under the same roof with it.*
