207 - LOVING THE STRANGER

Deuteronomy 10:19 -- “Therefore love the stranger, for you were strangers in the land of Egypt.”

“R. Simon b. Yohai says: We read: But let those who love Him be like the sun when it comes out in full strength. (Judges 5:31). Now who is the greater, he who loves the king or he whom the king loves? You must say: he whom the king loves. And it is written, and loves the stranger… etc. (Deuteronomy 10:18)”*
