41 - IMPRINTING ANY MARKS UPON OUR BODIES


Leviticus 19:28 -- “You shall not make any cuttings in your flesh for the dead, nor tattoo any marks on you: I am the LORD.”

Tattooing was “a custom of the heathen, who used so to mark himself for idolatry, as much as to say that the tattooed person was a slave sold to the idol and marked for its service.”*
