059 -- NEW TESTAMENT Part 3 (Letters) in the Koran

This seventh part of the Bible and third part of the New Testament has 37,977 words, 5,069 verses, 121 chapters in the following 21 letters: Romans, 1 Corinthians, 2 Corinthians, Galatians, Ephesians, Philippians, Colossians, 1 Thessalonians, 2 Thessalonians, 1 Timothy, 2 Timothy, Titus, Philemon, Hebrews, James, 1 Peter, 2 Peter, 1 John, 2 John, 3 John, and Jude. There are only few traces of biblical material in the Koran that comes from this part of the Bible, mostly in the form of denials of what the Apostles wrote in these letters:

INCLUDED: Most of what the Koran refers to from this part of the Bible is out of context, and sometimes in the form of a denial. Here are examples: // That Jesus carries the title of Messiah (al-Masih): Suras 3:45 -- 4:157,171,172 -- 5:17,72,75 -- 9:30,31; // that Christ is a mercy from God (Sura 19:21) and just (Sura 3:46 -- 6:85); that Christ is NOT Son of God: Suras 4:171 -- 9:30 -- 19:35 -- 39:4 -- 112:3; // that there is NO Triune God: Suras 4:171 -- 5:73,116; // There is NO substitution and therefore no vicarious death of Christ: Suras 6:164 -- 17:15 -- 35:18 -- 39:7 -- 53:38. The total number of Koran verses that belong to this category amount to only around 25 verses of the Koran.
OMITTED: Since the Koran only has so few verses rooted in this part of the Bible, it is clear that nearly all the 5,069 verses of the NT letters have been omitted in the Koran. By way of illustration let us list one key verse from some of these letters to appreciate what the Koran has omitted and in part repudiated: // Since we have been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ (Romans 5:1); // Now faith, hope, love abide, these three, but the greatest of these is love (1 Corinthians 13:13); // God was in Christ reconciling the world with himself, not counting their trespasses against them, and he has committed to us the word of reconciliation (2 Corinthians 5:19); // The fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control (Galatians 5:22,23); // Be strong in the Lord and in the power of his might (Ephesians 6:10); // Rejoice in the Lord always; again I will say, rejoice! (Philippians 4:4); // In Christ are hidden all treasures of wisdom and knowledge (Colossians 2:3); // May the God of peace sanctify you entirely; and may your spirit and soul and body be preserved complete, without blame at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. (1 Thessalonians 5:23); // If anyone is not willing to work, then he is not to eat either (2 Thessalonians 3:10b); // God wants that all should be saved and come to the knowledge of truth (1 Timothy 2:4); // The Savior Christ Jesus abolished death and brought life and immortality to light through the gospel (2 Timothy 1:10); // Avoid foolish controversies and genealogies and strife and disputes about the Law, for they are unprofitable and worthless (Titus 3:9); // May the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without blemish to God, cleanse your conscience from dead works to serve the living God (Hebrews 9:14); // The prayer of a righteous man can accomplish much (James 5:16); // Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who according to his great mercy has born us again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead (1 Peter 1:3); // We are expecting new heavens and a new earth, in which righteousness dwells (2 Peter 3:13); // God is love, and he who abides in love abides in God, and God in him (1 John 4:16). It is staggering to realize from this compact list what huge riches of the God's grace were ignored by the Koran.
