84 - ANOINTING ANY ONE EXCEPT THE HIGH PRIESTS AND KINGS WITH THE OIL OF ANOINTMENT PREPARED BY MOSES
Exodus 30:30.32 -- 30 “And you shall anoint Aaron and his sons, and consecrate them, that they may minister to Me as priests … 32 It shall not be poured on man's flesh; nor shall you make any other like it, according to its composition. It is holy, and it shall be holy to you.”
The term “kings” in the text above refers only to kings of the House of David. Those of any other Jewish royal house – such as the House of Jeroboam or of Ahab – were anointed with oil of a special composition prepared by the prophets of the time, but not with the Oil of Anointment which Moses himself had prepared.*
