176 - EATING ANYTHING WHICH SWARMS UPON THE EARTH
Leviticus 11:41 -- “And every creeping thing that creeps on the earth shall be an abomination. It shall not be eaten.”
By this prohibition, it is forbidden to eat anything that swarms upon the earth, such as worms, beetles and coleoptera, which are called “things that swarm upon the earth”. Eating any of these things is punishable by whipping.
