014 - Preview of Unit 07: Investigate OMISSIONS
To investigate omissions of biblical material on Adam from the Koran we tried to answer the following questions:
a) What is the content and biblical significance of Bible verses on Adam omitted in the Koran?
b) Why did the Koran omit these Bible verses? And
c) What can you do about this in your ministry?
In the present Unit 07 we applied this our general procedure to three examples of biblical passages on Adam, which the Koran has omitted:
a) The LORD God, i.e. Yahweh (Genesis 2:4);
b) The LORD God planted a garden in Eden as a place for Adam to live in (Genesis 2:8-14); and
c) The descendants of Adam and Eve from their third son (Genesis 5:1-32).
