PRAYER: Having contemplated your word as a complete book, our holy God, we are amazed at the way in which you brought it together over the centuries. You have used the Hebrew, Aramaic and Greek languages to have it written down and passed on from generation to generation. And through your Holy Spirit you have guided its translation into thousands of other languages. Thank you for making it available to us today and help us to be faithful in testifying it to our friends and neighbors. We pray this in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. Amen.
