BIK01 - Biblical Investigations of the Koran
A Ministry Course on Biblical Content in the Koran
STAGE 2 - Biblical PASSAGES and Biblical PERSONALITIES in the Koran
UNIT 06 - OBJECTIVES: Analyze, Explain and Apply the Three Kinds of Differences between Bible and Koran

097 - OBJECTIVE 3: USE and APPLY these comparative findings in your ministry

Finally, you need to assess the outcome of this comparative analysis and discuss how to use and apply such findings in your Christian ministry in the Muslim world. In this you can focus on at least four different areas of ministry:

a) Reaching out to Muslim opponents and seekers (apologetics and evangelism),
b) Accompanying new believers and committed disciples in the Muslim world (follow-up and discipling),
c) Facilitating spiritual growth in convert churches by encouraging pastors and teachers serving the body of Christ among Muslims (preaching and teaching) , and
d) Equipping Christians, who have little contact with Muslims, to be able to spiritually distinguish between the Bible and the Koran (discernment of spirits).

To show you how these three different objectives can be achieved in specific contexts at the interface between the Bible and the Koran, we will separately unfold them in each of the three types of relationship between Bible and Koran. This means that we will demonstrate how to use these three objectives first in the context of what the Koran omitted from the Bible (UNIT 07), then in the context of what the Koran added to the Bible (UNIT 08), and finally in the context of what the Koran changed from the Bible (UNIT 09).
