212 - GATHERING THE WHOLE PRODUCE OF THE VINEYARD AT VINTAGE TIME

Leviticus 19:10 -- “And you shall not glean your vineyard, nor shall you gather every grape of your vineyard; you shall leave them for the poor and the stranger: I am the LORD your God.”

This commandment does not apply to other trees, even though they are similar to the grapevine.

A grapevine that bears only under-developed clusters belongs entirely to the poor.*
