21 - SUPPRESSING EVIDENCE WHICH IS UNFAVORABLE TO THE MISLEADER


Deuteronomy 13:8 -- “You shall not consent to him or listen to him, nor shall your eye pity him, nor shall you spare him or conceal him”

“We have been taught: We do not appoint to the Sanhedrin an aged man, a eunuch, or a childless man. R. Judah adds: a cruel man. But in the case of a meisith the reverse is true, since the All-Merciful says, nor shall you spare him or conceal him.”*
