122 - BREAKING ANY OF THE BONES OF THE SECOND PASSOVER OFFERING

Numbers 9:12 -- “They shall leave none of it until morning, nor break one of its bones. According to all the ordinances of the Passover they shall keep it.”

The prohibition applies to any bone, whether it contains marrow or not.* Thus, if there is marrow in the bone the prohibition applies even if there is no meat on it, and vice versa; but if there is neither meat nor marrow, whipping is not entailed.**
