286 - A JUDGE RECEIVING A WICKED MAN'S TESTIMONY


Exodus 23:1-2 -- 1 “You shall not circulate a false report. Do not put your hand with the wicked to be an unrighteous witness.”
Deuteronomy 19:16 -- “If a false witness rises against any man to testify against him of wrongdoing.”

By this prohibition, a judge is forbidden to receive testimony from a wicked man, and to act in accordance with his testimony.
