It is no easy matter for a Muslim to even consider Christianity as a possible belief system for them to choose. For most it is simply out of the question; even atheism, however shocking, would be chosen before Christianity. Why is this? This short chapter will look at reasons stemming from their Islamic background (upbringing, culture and society), and the next, longer, chapter will consider theological objections of which there are many.
