BIK01 - Biblical Investigations of the Koran
A Ministry Course on Biblical Content in the Koran
STAGE 1 - INTRODUCTION
UNIT 01 - PREVIEW: What to expect in this ministry course
016 - Preview of Unit 09: Investigate CHANGES
To investigate changes of biblical material on Adam in the Koran we tried to answer the following questions:
a) How did the Koran change Bible verses on Adam?
b) Why did the Koran change these Bible verses? And
c) What can you do about this in your ministry?
In this Unit 09 we applied our general procedure to just one example of biblical passages on Adam, which the Koran has changed:
Adam in the Garden of Eden and the interdiction to eat of the tree of knowledge of good and evil (Genesis 2:15-17 which seems to have been taken up in Sruas al-Baqara 2:35 -- al-A'raf 7:19 -- Ta Ha 20:120).
